Clean Sweep Manitoba Terms of Service
Introduction
Here at Clean Sweep Manitoba, we want all our clients to understand our service expectations. We feel it is important to be fully informed of the services and our expectations. Please fully review and let us know if you have any questions or concerns about any information contained in our agreement. We will require you to verify that you read and understood the terms and conditions agreement before we commence any work.
Description of Binding Agreement
These terms and conditions serve as a binding agreement between the property owner and property manager, hereby identified as “client” and Clean Sweep Manitoba Ltd. and its owners, employees, and subcontractors, hereby identified as “company,” for the execution of services in exchange for payment for residential or commercial exterior cleaning services. The services that Clean Sweep Manitoba provide to you are subject to the following terms and we reserve the right to update the terms and conditions any time without notice to you. You can review the Terms and conditions by clicking on the Terms and conditions links via our website, email communications or any other communications such as estimate or invoice links.
Authorizations
Client agrees to allow company on the property for the purposes of completing cleaning and/or painting services requested. Client understands that the service will be completed in the timeframe given during the estimate. Due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, any outdoor service may need to be rescheduled. Client understands that the company will do their best to accommodate for a quick reschedule but must work around other scheduled clients and weather. Company also has permission to visit the property with little or no notice to assess service needs prior to the date of service, as well as to check completion after services have been rendered.
Client agrees to allow company to utilize their water source via spigot, which will be turned on and easily accessible on the date of service. Crew members are to inspect any spigot before cleaning to ensure there is no damage to area and inspection after. Clean Sweep Manitoba will not be held accountable for previously damaged spigots. Client will be informed of any previously noted damage.
Risks and Releases of Liability Acknowledgement
1. Overview
Clean Sweep Manitoba technicians are well trained in the equipment used in the cleaning industry and take extreme precautions in making sure the company does not cause harm to your investment. However, damage can still occur to any delicate surface due to poor maintenance, neglect to the property and or low-grade building materials. The client assumes all the risks and takes responsibility for any damage that occurs due to improper maintenance.
2. Power Scrubbing and Pressure Washing Acknowledgement
a) House Keeping Items
You must have a water spigot available within 200 feet (60 meters) or other arrangements available such as water being brought to site for us to complete services.
Client understands that they must have property prepared and ready for washing. This includes removing vehicles or other items from the work area. Clean Sweep Manitoba is not responsible for damage to any vehicles left in the work area. If work is provided on a scheduled day, any areas not cleaned due to vehicles in the way will be subject to a return fee. A surcharge fee may be applied for working around vehicles not removed from the area of work.
Client also understands if we do a site unseen estimate based on provided photos or use of Eagle view software, Google maps or other local listed information, that we will not be able to note any flaws in surfaces. If we do a site unseen estimate, client understands we are not liable for any unacknowledged flaw and will do our best to point this out at date of cleaning prior to commencement of washing. If you have rust stains, soot stains, grease stains or a stain from man-made reasons, these will not come out with a wash.
b) Gutter Traps
Client understands that Clean Sweep does not clean gutter traps. All used water from power-scrubbing is emptied into the gutter traps, absent any sediments. Clean Sweep Manitoba is not responsible for backed-up gutter traps.
c) Ventilation Systems in Enclosed Parking Areas
Client acknowledges that Clean Sweep Manitoba utilizes gasoline- or propane-powered equipment that requires active and functioning ventilation systems in enclosed or semi-enclosed parking areas, parkades, or structures.
- Ventilation systems must be operational, activated, and sufficient prior to crew arrival.
- If Clean Sweep Manitoba crews cannot detect active ventilation, an authorized on-site representative must be present to confirm that ventilation systems are operational and safe.
- If ventilation cannot be verified visually, audibly, or by confirmation from an on-site representative, service will be immediately cancelled for safety reasons.
In such cases, cancellation fees will apply in accordance with the cancellation policy, and rescheduling will be subject to availability.
Clean Sweep Manitoba reserves the sole right to determine whether ventilation conditions are adequate for safe operation.
d) Unsafe Material
Client understands that Clean Sweep Manitoba will not clean areas with unsafe materials such as needles, broken glass or hazardous materials.
In such cases, cancellation fees will apply in accordance with the cancellation policy, and rescheduling will be subject to availability.
Clean Sweep Manitoba reserves the sole right to determine whether conditions are adequate for safe operation.
3. Power Sweeping Acknowledgement

If work is provided on a scheduled day, any areas not cleaned due to vehicles in the way will be subject to a return fee. A surcharge fee may be applied for working around vehicles not removed from the area of work.
Client also understands if we do a site unseen estimate based on provided photos or use of Eagle view software, Google maps or other local listed information, that we will not be able to note any flaws in surfaces. If we do a site unseen estimate, client understands we are not liable for any unacknowledged flaw and will do our best to point this out at date of cleaning prior to commencement of sweeping.
b) Ventilation Systems in Enclosed Parking Areas
Client understands that our machines are gasoline or propane-powered machines. These machines require proper ventilation for safe work. If the ventilation system is not turned on, we will be unable to complete the service. A cancellation fee applies.
c) Unsafe Material
Client understands that Clean Sweep Manitoba will not clean areas with unsafe materials such as needles, broken glass or hazardous materials.
In such cases, cancellation fees will apply in accordance with the cancellation policy, and rescheduling will be subject to availability.
Clean Sweep Manitoba reserves the sole right to determine whether conditions are adequate for safe operation.
4. Line Painting Acknowledgement
a) House Keeping Items
Client understands that they must have property prepared and ready for painting. This includes removing vehicles or other items from the work area. Clean Sweep Manitoba is not responsible for damage to any vehicles left in the work area. If work is provided on a scheduled day, any areas not painted due to vehicles in the way will be subject to a return fee. A surcharge fee may be applied for working around vehicles not removed from the area of work.
b) Ventilation Systems in Enclosed Parking Areas

c) Etching
Client understands that Clean Sweep Manitoba will not be responsible for asphalt etching of paint applied before new asphalt is fully cured.
5. Other Services Acknowledgement

Client understands that they must have property prepared and ready for services. This includes removing vehicles or other items from the work area. Clean Sweep Manitoba is not responsible for damage to any vehicles left in the work area. If work is provided on a scheduled day, any services not rendered due to vehicles in the way will be subject to a return fee. A surcharge fee may be applied for working around vehicles not removed from the area of work.

c) Asphalt repair and crack filling
Client understands that no warranty will be given for damages caused by frost heaving.
6. On the Day of Service:
- Please have a water spigot activated and accessible. Your water must have a steady pressure of 30 PSI.
- Notify your alarm system for any enclosed parking areas.
- Please ensure you have provided access details for any enclosed parking areas, as well as an on-site contact for any outdoor services.
- Ensure the area of work is free from obstacles such as vehicles, garbage bins and bicycles.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Client understands that scheduled services require advance planning, labour allocation, and equipment mobilization. As such, the following cancellation and late-notice rescheduling fees apply:
- No cancellation fee with two (2) weeks or more notice
- 10% of the scheduled service value with 1–2 weeks’ notice
- 50% of the scheduled service value with less than one (1) week’s notice
- 100% of the scheduled service value with less than forty-eight (48) hours’ notice
A minimum cancellation fee of $90.00 applies to any cancellation or rescheduling made within one (1) week of the scheduled service date, regardless of percentage calculations.
If a cancelled service is rebooked and completed within thirty (30) days, 50% of the cancellation fee paid will be credited toward the rebooked service invoice.
Cancellation fees apply equally where service cannot be completed due to client-controlled conditions, including but not limited to lack of access, lack of ventilation, lack of water, or site readiness issues.
8. Water Access Requirements
If required, client agrees to provide a functional water source suitable for the services being performed.
- The water spigot must be within 200 feet (approximately 60 meters) of the work area unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Water pressure must be continuous and sufficient for service completion.
- The water source must be accessible upon crew arrival.
If water access does not meet these requirements:
- Water-dependent services cannot be performed
- A return visit fee will apply if a subsequent visit is required
- Cancellation or delay fees may apply depending on notice and circumstances
Clean Sweep Manitoba is not responsible for delays or incomplete services caused by inadequate water access.
8. Fees and Additional Charges
At the company’s discretion, the following charges may be assessed:
- Cancellation fees as outlined in the Cancellation and Rescheduling section above.
- A 15% surcharge where crews are required to work around vehicles that were not removed from the work area.
- A $75.00 fee where Clean Sweep Manitoba returns to site to investigate a complaint or concern that is determined to be unfounded or not caused by improper workmanship.
- A minimum $110.00 return visit fee per service where work could not be completed due to vehicles, obstructions, lack of access, water, or ventilation.
- A $105.00 processing fee for any returned or declined cheques.
9. Content Release & Use
Client agrees to allow Clean Sweep Manitoba to utilize any photos, videos, reviews, or descriptions of the property in the context of advertising for the company. The company will use these photos, videos, or descriptions without any compensation to the client. The media will be solely used for advertising and training purposes. The client agrees not to seek punitive action in a civil court of law regarding the use of the above media. We will not include sensitive information such as addresses or names.
10. If Any Damage Occurs
Clean Sweep Manitoba will be obligated under our terms and conditions for any damage that was a direct result of operator error, negligence, or willful misconduct. Damages must be discovered and reported to Clean Sweep within 3 days of completion of service. The company will be allowed 30 calendar days from the date of written receipt to inspect the premises and have the sole option in repairing or contracting repair to any damages that were the result of negligence.
11. Payment Terms
Payment is due 15 days upon completion of work unless other arrangements were made between the client and company. If a different arrangement occurs, this will be documented and signed by both parties. We accept all forms of payment to include cheques, credit cards, or EFT. If paying with credit cards, we accept payment through our credit card processor link or the office for privacy and security of our client’s information. We do charge a 3% convenience fee when using a credit card through our credit processor. Unless other arrangements are approved in writing, any invoice or scheduled payment over 15 days past due will be subject to a late fee of 5%. If payment is not received within, 30 days of being past due, Clean Sweep Manitoba reserves the right to file a civil claim to collect outstanding debt. Any legal fees incurred will be added to the unpaid balance of the client. Clean Sweep Manitoba also reserves the right to refuse to continue business with client who is currently past due or who has been 30+days past due more than once. This contract is binding.
Acceptance to Terms
By accepting an estimate, the client agrees to all the terms and conditions in this agreement. You authorize Clean Sweep Manitoba to do the work as specified on the estimate. You release our company from property damage unless it is caused by negligence or willful misconduct. Clean Sweep Manitoba is not responsible for damage to loose concrete, asphalt, paint, wood, or trim that was previously noted as damage or found during the pre-inspection walk-through. Clean Sweep Manitoba cannot be held responsible for delays to the project caused by weather conditions, locator services, or work of other trades on the same project and/or adjacent sites.
